I've now had official confirmation of the details of this years race. Date is the 5th of October, which is the usual weekend but almost everything else has changed.
Race now starting at 12 outside Scotstoun Stadium and the price has increased. I believe the course is the same so the new start will actually make it easier in my opinion (hills all done in the first half).map on link
My plan is that we meet no later than 11 at Woodend so that I can get the teams sorted and the entries in. Cost will be £10 per runner.
For those who don't know, Kelvin Runners enter this race every year and we have a social gathering in the clubhouse after (usually some soup and cakes on the go - and some folk have been known to have a drink or three). It is a 5.5k loop around Jordanhill so suitable for everyone. It really is a very nice day I promise.
