Hogmanay Handicap Sunday 28th December 2014

This year's Hogmanay Handicap will take place on Sunday 28th December at The West Of Scotland Rugby Ground Milngavie.(map on link).
This is a great wee run organized annually by Jude & Jon Austin (parents of triathlete Marc Austin who trained with KR as a youngster ! )This is a very scenic 4mile route which is free to enter with the opportunity to donate to Strathcarron Hospice, and which anyone can win as it is handicapped,  and Jon Austin is a very kind handicapper !
Kelvin Runners have been big supporters of this in the past so it would be great to see as many as possible there yet again. 
On a personal note I will certainly be there as my late lovely brother in law Gerard Brophy passed away in May in Strathcarron Hospice and I cannot speak highly enough of the wonderful care he received there. Truly a wonderful cause to support.
